Quite fittingly, as the food served here is perfect for big appetites – enjoy the flavors of Texas through the restaurant’s excellent selection of meats, cheeses, and wines. Each dish is made from scratch and is cooked to perfection – try the chicken fried steak and catfish and their Texas venison chili, which are all top-notch.

Their branch in Lake Conroe is one of four locations in Texas, and one of the longest-running dining establishments in Houston. First opened in 1981, Sam’s Boat has already earned a solid reputation for providing excellent food, top-notch service, and live music performances.
